Thankful Thursday - Thanksgiving Edition

Ah, the last Thankful Thursday post. Where did the month of November go?

This Thursday is Thanksgiving in the United States so my list is focused on today’s events:

3. I’m thankful that Smith’s was open this morning so I could get some eggs to make pasta . . .

2. I’m thankful I had just enough Debbie Bliss Luxury Angora Tweed to finish a second short row hat:

Happy Thanksgiving Susan! Are those macadamia nuts in your biscotti?

Oh yummy! I have Larry’s mother’s recipe for Mandelbread, but I haven’t ever tried it. Must do.

    Hey, that turkey looks familiar…

Ours was filled with cranberry sauce today.

    Those are mighty fine chocolates!

Hah! Making pasta was what I was doing a week ago, only mine turned into lasagne. My old machine had been relegated to the craft room, so I had to go buy a new one! Those biscotti (they call them cantucci or cantuccini in Tuscany) look divine!

Your post just reminded me that I inherited an Italian pasta maker (as in, from Italy)…and I have not used it yet. Maybe I should get on that…

Everything looks so yummy! I could go for some Biscottie right now.

Oh yum! If only I could eat your delightful biscotti again!

Your pasta looks wonderful! Now that our chickens have kicked it into gear again, I should make some pasta… Great way to use up extra eggs!
