Ten On Tuesday

I’ve never done this Ten on Tuesday thing before.  But if I have any chance of making it through November with 30 different posts, I need some fodder.  Plus, I liked the theme this week . . .

Ten Ways To Waste Time On the Internet.

10.  Make a Wordle from blog posts.

9.   Catch up with high school friends on Facebook.  (Yes, my 30th reunion is this month.)

8.   The People of Walmart.  Can’t look . . . can’t look away.

7.   Wait for Supreme Court opinions to be posted and analyzed on the SCOTUS Blog.

6.   Go to the home page on Etsy and watch the ticker of recently listed items (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

5.  Watch old episodes of Arrested Development on Hulu.

4. IMDB: Like an onion.

3.  Speaking of onions, The Onion is another good time waster.  And usually funny.

2.  Diagnose yourself on the Mayo Clinic website.

1.  But, without a doubt the number one way to waste time on the Internet is to read the forum posts on Ravelry.  Captivating daily entertainment with an occasional blockbuster thrown into the mix.

We don’t have access to Hulu in Canada, can’t you believe that! I accidentally wandered into the Wal-mart post like a train wreck, but got out as quickly as possible! No good can come from that kind of title…don’t forget the itty bitty kitty committee website!!

Oh geez. People of Walmart? I’m a HS teacher and a kid at school clued me in on that website. I just can’t help myself, either.

Ok, so I’ve emailed everyone I know the People of Walmart. Thanks for a huge chuckle – and a huge waste of time! I’m kind of afraid to go to the other sites.
