Sweet!
How do you restrain yourself from eating lots of yummy, fattening food while watching the undefeated Utah Utes crush Alabama in the Sugar Bowl?
Knit a sock, of course.

Go Utes! I’m a BSU fan so I’m always happy to see a fellow underdog triumph!
That’s why I learned to cross stitch way back when. You can’t eat and cross stitch, either.
Can you believe it!? We had a very happy night of shouting, dancing and laughing at the other team. They didn’t even SHOW UP! UTES ARE NUMBER ONE!!!
Nice sock.
Great idea. Thanks for the idea. Maybe that will help with the New Year’s Resolution!
My husband and I had so much fun watching that game! Especially after the commentators during the pre-game show basically said that little Utah had no chance against the powerhouse team from the powerhouse conference. The Utes sure proved them wrong!
Silly commentators. They keep thinking the Eastern teams are best. Wrong! I chuckled through Penn State losing and Pitt losing to the PAC 10.
Love it!
Boo! Roll Tide. My library science degree is from UA. But DH is a rabid Alabama fan who could not watch the game. I was in another room.
Uh… that works for you? I have perfected one-handed project holding while snagging not-good-for-you food in the middle of my knitting.
THAT was a good game. But you didn’t work on a sweater?
So did you give your DH a “ninja” gift? (one still on the needles). Holy cow woman, you knit a lot in 2008!
Wasn’t it SWEET! Not only was Alabama stunned, but so were the announcers.
That yarn looks familiar. . .hmmm?
Huzzah on the team! (And great plan on the sock.)
Ha cute!
I couldn’t stay awake for the end of the game, but I was rooting for the Utes (even though I live in Alabama)! Probably because my husband went to Auburn…
I watched that game…it was GREAT!!! ‘Bama didn’t know what hit ‘em!!
Oh Susan—you SO saved my bacon, hon. Thank you thank you thank you thank you! I’m hoping to get a photo shoot completed soon so you can see the finished sweater. It’s beautiful!
