Rescheduled

Well, the promised post about my friend’s lampworked beads somehow forgot to write itself today. Since tonight is my weekly Stitch ‘n Bitch meeting, I thought I’d try something new. Live blogging!

7:15 p.m. — Chris and Nathan just walked in with a little snack. Baked brie with pecans, brown sugar and whiskey. Yum.

7:31 p.m. — Shelley is showing off her interesting jewelry.

7:53 p.m. — Argument! Which is a better show, Dexter or Glee???

8:05 p.m. — I just noticed Margene’s lovely hand-knit socks. Here they are, next to mine.

8:12 p.m. — Katherine arrives. Let the party begin.

8:19 p.m. — Square double pointed needles. Have you tried them?

    To me it sounds like a strange combination for a snack but I love brie and I love pecans, I’ll give it a try. Can I just leave the sugar out of it?

    I just love the pattern of the blue socks!!! Can you tell me which pattern it is?

    Funny you should ask about the square DPNs. I was at a local knitting retreat this past weekend and the vendor had ‘em there. The woman sitting next to me bought some and let me knit with ‘em. I’ve been thinking about ‘em ever since – which means I’ll probably end up buying ‘em.
