Oooooh, Shiny

Don’t you just love unexpected surprises. Wait, is that redundant?

I have a friend who makes the most amazing lampworked buttons and rings. On Sunday she brought this lovely pouch of glassy goodness to me.

The buttons are substantial but surprisingly light. I already have plans to use these three on cowls:

Did I mention my friend makes beads, too? And is willing to work late into the night to do custom work? More about that tomorrow.
