Five on Friday

Since last Friday, I . . .

. . .  drank a lot of my new favorite tea.

Look at those lovely, bright green leaves. I wish you could smell them. Yum.

. . . started Anne’s amazing Northern Lights Shawl in an unusual-for-me Noro colorway.

. . . received my NaKniSweMoDo patch. Now I just have to knit the last three sweaters.

. . . finally turned my air conditioner on. 82 degrees at 6:oo p.m. is just a bit more than I can handle. But this is the first year I can remember not needing the AC until July 1st!

. . . finished a red-on-red Kusha Kusha scarf for a friend.

Have a great Fourth of July holiday!

We still haven’t turn on our a/c. I’m loving it. Must get my patch and must get some of that tea, too! That red scarf is to live for. I might need one like it, too. ;-)

OMG, if I had known there was a patch involved, I would have quit my job to knit those 12 sweaters. That’s *so* cool. And also, congratulations for almost finishing - I bet you’ll knit 3 or 4 extra sweaters for insurance :)

Thanks - I needed another tea to try, along with the Genmaicha I’m already semi-addicted to ;) Love the scarf!

Happy 4th to you as well! We just turned our a/c on not so much to cool it down because it’s pretty darn cool, but to suck out some of the nasty moisture.

    Lurve that red scarf!

Pretty knitting and an interesting teapot. I love green tea though haven’t tried what you have there.

Those ARE different for you, but great for keeping with the Northern Lights theme. Your photos are so clear that I can almost smell the tea… Happy 4th!

Hee! Took your meme for my own, and felt nicely reflective after. Thanks, and have a nice 4th!

Love that red on red kusha kusha. Did you like working with that yarn?

A patch? How awesome! And you finished Northern Lights in a week? I bow to you, master.

Okay. I totally missed the patch thing. I’ve just finished the 9th of my NaKniSweMoDo sweaters. How do I get me a patch?

Holy cow, that Kusha Kusha is pretty!

I love your Five on Friday thingy. It might be enough to get me blogging again.

    Maybe.
