Five On Friday
Since last Friday, I . . .
. . . nearly finished last week’s sweater:
. . . started a new sweater:
. . . strolled around the gardens near Temple Square:
. . . settled on a new favorite yogurt:
. . . and celebrated the birthday of my oldest child:

Sounds like another great week!
You’ll love Green Gable, such an easy knit!
Sounds (and looks) like a really good week!
Happy birthday to A.!
I still wish you could get yogurt here that’s REALLY like the yogurt in Greece. With honey and walnuts, too.
Nineteen, already? Really? I can not believe this!
And about the yogurt, I too discoverd it lately, but the whole fat version, yummie. In a magazine was said eat it for breakfast with apricot and honey and walnuts. I switched the walnuts for almond pieces, hmmmmm
That cake looks delicious!
That’s my favorite yogurt, too. I just started mixing the 2% with nonfat to make a sort of 1% as I’m a weight watcher….but the nonfat just doesn’t cut it. The cake looks incredibly yummy! (Sigh…) And your knitting, yummy too – as always.
Wow, I love chocolate cakes !
love the pictures, and really love the sweater – which pattern is it? The yogurt is great – we get ours at Trader Joe’s. . .
Great week. Happy Birthday to your eldest.
oh, I thought it was a sweater a month…it’s a sweater a WEEK??!!!!
(lovely one though)
Cake looks delish! My youngest is 19. Aren’t you constantly amazed that they turn into real people?
Green Gable looks like it’s making good progress.
Fage 2%? Every day at lunch. I add some raw pecan pieces, a bit of maple syrup, and I am in yoghurt heaven.
I love your weekly updates. Such a fun way to highlight the summer — quick, before it slips away!
Glad you like that yogurt! It’s the one I found at JFK last summer and really loved. Maybe not as good as the Greek Gods one but a lot fewer calories—
Okay…so you are about the third person praising this Greek yogurt so I guess it is time I try to locate some! The cake looks delicious. Happy birthday to your young adult. It is amazing how quickly our kids grow up!
Hello Susan,
I am looking for your email address to contact you
Flore from France
I’ve been eating the Fage for dessert mixed with frozen blueberries and a little honey or brown sugar (gives it a little caramel-y flavor).
Looks great!
Hi,
I am wondering if I can purchase the forest canopy shawl with my credit card as I do not have pay pal???
Thanks… Penny
Happy to find your blog. I see you at the shop occassionally. Love the green gable, how are you liking the cotton fleece? And where here did you find the yogurt?… save me some time searching ;0)
Oh, I LOVE Fage yogurt! I buy it in the big containers at Costco for about $5 – way cheaper than the small containers which are 2 bucks at my store!! I mix a little bit of stevia in it, add fresh strawberries and a few frozen blueberries, and it is heavenly!!!
Heard about your blog from my LYS (here in San Diego).
