Five On Friday
Since last Friday, I . . .
. . . . observed and documented while the owner of my LYS xeriscaped.
. . . . finished the second Noro sock (specs on Ravelery project page).
. . . . spun a lovely merino/tussah batt from Copperpot Woolies (link to Ravelry stash page).
. . . . found a wonderful use for the cup holder in my new camp chair.
. . . . and attended a party celebrating the first anniversary of Blazing Needles.
Today is a holiday in Utah. No work. Yay!

Happy Pioneer Day. Heh.
Woohoo! I even slept in today. The party was fun!
It’s funny – we’re only half a block from the parade route, and I’ve only gone over there once. And only for a short time.
I did discover that I can watch the parade on TV, and if there’s something I want to see, I can walk down to the corner before that float gets there.
Hey! What a great day! And I just love your socks. . .
Ooo! I love Cheryl’s method of watching the parade.
I’m so sad I was overbooked and had to miss BN’s birthday party. You guys have such cute smiles in the photo.
It was a blast. Happy times with happy people–can’t ask for more.
Sounds like it was a good week! I like what’s in the cup holder.
Well, I think we need a ‘Pioneers Day’ holiday here in Colorado, too! And, I need to seriously get some xeriscaping done around my house…yours looks promising. Love the Noro socks and I think you found the PERFECT resident for your cup holder. I can’t wait to see what that yarn becomes.
Hey! I’ve been reading this blog for ages and had no idea you were a Utahan. Maybe I haven’t been looking as closely as I should be
Happy Pioneer Day, and those socks are lovely.
Looks like I missed another great party!
That yarn is fabulous! Makes me want to reach through the computer and smoosh it.
