Five On Friday
Since last Friday, I . . . . . . .
. . . Went to the neighborhood Fourth of July parade:
. . . Spent the morning of July 4th knitting in my backyard with Margene and Laurie:
. . . Took a walk on Monday evening and spotted lots of candy from the parade that the kids missed:
. . . Finished a sweater that’s been languishing in my WIP pile for more than a year (modeled by DD; details on Ravelry)
. . . and finished the Northern Lights Shawl:
What about you??

Not even close to that productive. You shame me;-P
You did it! The sweater looks great. The day was so fun. Wish we had a chance to do that more often.
Looks like a great week to me. I finished Revontuli a couple of weeks ago and finally got Hannah to model it for me so I can post photos on the blog next week.
Love the Revontuli in that colorway! I started that shawl last summer. Maybe i’ll finish it this year.
Nice! I love neighborhood parades. And you’d have a tough time finding better company to knit with!! Happy weekend!
What a great knitting week. Every week should be like that.
*sigh*
Now I feel like such a slacker…
Looks like you had a great week!
Your neighborhood parade looks like it’s very fun.
Wow that’s a lot of activity. Love the sweater!
I love how green and wonderful your garden is.
Add me to the slacker list. I’ve been spindling daily for the Tour de Fleece, finally finished a pair of footies and have made three peach cobblers since your past week. Clearly, I need to get moving.
Hanging with Margene and Laurie………..priceless.
What a lovely day that was! I’ve had honey and yogurt twice since then, but with blueberries instead of figs. Still yummy.
However, it would be more fun to hang out with you if you were a good “christian” woman. Sheesh. Heathens. Can’t convert ‘em, can’t stone ‘em. What’s a saint like me to do?
LOLOLOLOLOLhahahahaha
I wish I could be sitting in the empty chair with you ladies knitting right now.
Hmmmm. Trying to think what I got done. . . .
What a fun post..and gorgeous shawl!!
