Fear Of Finishing

I have no fewer than 3 nearly finished projects, one of which only needs some ends woven in:

So, did I finish them today?

Nope, I started something new:

Don’t forget to enter my contest. I’ll close the comments tomorrow night.

Only 3? That’s almost in the amateur league!! LOL. Seaming and weaving in ends are my least favorite thing to do, but casting on is the best!! We all understand.

That’s why I started Finish or Frog It Fridays. Check it out on Ravelry. But please don’t go look at my Ravelry page and the number of unwieldy WIPs and UFOs I have. It’s driving me crazy! Oh, and my new Interweave Knits arrived today and I MUST MAKE THE COVER SWEATER…

Don’t you just love knitter’s ADD?

Of course you did. What else is a knitter to do?

This week I got a package of yarn in the mail for a specific project. I told my husband that I would start it as soon as I put together the two sweaters that are finished except for the sewing. The words were barely out of my mouth when I opened the package, found my size 6’s, and cast on. I’m glad to hear I’m not alone.

It’s nice to know someone is starting new projects. I seem to be stuck in the land of the endless slog.

It’s called separation anxiety. You just can’t give up the WIP.

That finishing just seems to be the hardest thing to do.
