The Postman Rings Once, Then Twice, Then . . .
There have been a lot of packages containing yarn and fiber gracing my doorstep in the last few weeks. In my defense (assuming I need one), some have contained yarn for “secret” projects. But, admittedly, the vast majority have surfaced as the result of the undeniable lure of online yarn shopping.
I’d first like to warn everyone that Jen at Woolgirl is evil . . . evil beyond belief. Who does she think she is, enticing me by wrapping those packages up so nicely with real ribbon, candy, and assorted prezzies.
Plus, now she’s having a sale! It won’t work on me, Jen. Nope. I’ve already bought all you have to offer and plenty from other vendors, too:

Three Irish Girls sock yarn:
Dream in Color Smooshy:
Das Schneeschaf sock yarn:
PidgeonRoof Studios sock yarn:
Family Pendragon sock yarn:
VanCalCar Acres Flock Sock yarn:
And more sock yarn! These are all from Kim at the Woolen Rabbit.
And there’s fiber, too! The last two selections from the Hello Yarn fiber club:
I think I have enough to keep me busy for a while.

Wow! What blog am I at today? This can’t be Susan!
Oh dear - I see at least 3-4 very serious temptations here … enjoy!
I’m having palpitations…
Nice yarn haul! I’m really trying hard not to click those links…..
Are you kidding me? That’s a two week supply at the outside - thank goodness you have Opal for backup
What are the chances I’ll be able to forget you said ’sale?’
Those are gorgeous, gorgeous! I’m too envious for words.
What a haul! The only problem will be, what to knit first!
You said that Jen at Woolgirl is evil, but then you show us luscious pictures of fabulous sock yarn and mention the word “sale” all in the same post?! I’m not sure who is more evil….
The Family Pendragon yarn really caught me eye. ACK!
It’s all SO pretty. I just need to stay away from the links!
Wow! That’s some serious stash enhancement. Planning on making a coupla socks?
Oh dear. Now I have even more ways to spend my money … you are an enabler!
I just discovered that site as well! They have beautiful yarn from vendors I’ve never heard of, and the packaging was so lovely! Methinks I’ll have to stop by again for the sale though…
I never heard of half of these yarns! And now I must go find out about them…
Holy cats, that is a lot of really beautiful yarn and fiber!
Smooshy love! And all those other pretty things. My credit card is currently being thrown out the window so that I don’t immediately buy enough yarn to fit in my bathtub!

Looks like you spread the love pretty evenly. Next up: A Verb for Keeping Warm merino/silk. ooooo!
so, just how much is Jen paying you to carry on her evil-ness in tempting all of us who have read this post and are now itching to buy more yarn from her?
LALALALALALA I CAN’T hear YOU I CAN’T see YOU.
I’d go shop myself, but I’m too busy wiping drool off my keyboard. Happy knitting and spinning.
Ooh, you didn’t warn us there was yarn pr0n here, Susan!! Everything is gorgeous. I have only ordered 2 sets of sock yarn lately.
All of that is really gorgeous, just drop dead loverly.

I’m in yarn envy ! ! ! BTW magknits.com has ceased operation and your lovely Lombard Street Socks pattern is not available through them any longer. It’s such a lovely pattern I hope you will consider putting it up on your site - even for sale, I’d buy it!!!
Happy Knitting!

OH Gosh, such pretties..How does a Gal resist the temptation, especially with such lovely packaging..??~~
That might be the biggest quality haul I’ve seen in a long time. I’m completely green her on L.I.
Hi Susan, I just downloaded your pattern Forest canopy shawl. It is beautiful, I did downloaded 2 times. One for my pattern book and one as a working copy. I love your yarn stash. Another absolutly great place to shop is The Loopy Ewe. Sheri is wonderful and very quick service. Nicely wrapped and great gifties. Check it out you know misery loves company. Sheri says sock yarn does not count as stash. Thank goodness.Have a great weekend.
I am having serious yarn envy!
Wow! So pretty…
Pot meet Kettle. Not just pictures and enough info to find the places but links as well! Sheesh. My postman will have a fit if I get too many more boxes.
But seriously, wow what a lovely lot of lovely stuff. Thanks for sharing it. And thanks for the links! I’m off to spend the tax refund.
