I agree, too bad about the scarf. But what about that cowl idea? I thought that would have worked great!

I was on tour in LA for a few weeks a couple of summers ago and fell in love with A Mano Yarn Center. It's in the part of LA that is closer to Venice Beach. (http://www.amanoyarncenter.com/)

(PS...can't wait for your Wooly Wonka project!)

Oh, that's wonderful that your son made his decision.

I love the new baby sweater. The yarn is gorgeous. So I'll see ya soon, right?

At least make a trip to Brentwood to see Jennifer Knits. The yarns there are so very beautiful, although not nearly as unique and pretty as your own handspun!

LA Yarn shopping, Yes. But if he would have gone to Macalaster think of all the woolen hats, mittens, scarves, and sweaters he would have needed to get through the Minnesota winters...oh, the knitting opportunities lost. :)

Looks like my 11th grade niece from Atlanta is strongly considering St. Olaf college in Northfield, MN. I should get my needles clicking for her right now. :)
