Sweet Tomatoes
Last week, I picked up four tomato plants at Costco for less than $8.00. They were ginormous and filled with flowers. Still, I had my doubts that the fruit would set.
Guess I was wrong:

Now that’s the way I like my tomatoes - FAST
Very nice. I like to get plants that are ready to go. Have you seen my tomatoes?
Ooo, Costco? Good tip. I’m headed there tomorrow for laundry detergent and I’ve been wanting to get tomato plants. I may have to do the same!
absolutely my favorite food—garden tomatoes.
Hooray for tomatoes!
I’m happy for you, although sad for me. I found one of my ‘mater plants dead in my garden. It just whithered and died within a few days. There was no saving it. Of course, my peas are blooming nicely right now…
Oh yum! You’ll have ripe red tomatoes in no time!
Awesome. My tomato plant is like 1 foot tall, but I had a hard time finding tall plants that were suitable for container gardening.
I would love to be proven wrong like that on those tomato plants!
At least you’ll have salmonella-free ‘maters!!
You’ll be slicing in by the 4th! Mine are still only shin high, no flowers….
Costco has tomato plants? So, why did I spend all that time and money growing from seed? (Mine are only about a foot tall right now!)
Mmmmmm - nothing like home-grown tomatoes!
Yay for tomatoes!
Homegrown tomatoes are the best–epecially in light of the samonella scare that we have haveing in some sates now.
I was just looking at mine, flowers but no fruit yet. Soon. Yours look great.
And they should be salmonella-free, too. Bonus!
yippie yippie for tomatoes! other than being really worried that I spell the name wrong, they’re amazing and the smell of their leaves just drips of summer to me… we have 11 varieties of heirloom tomatoes in our garden this year - and they’re just starting to turn red … and pink… and purple (they’re heirloom so they’re all kinds of colors!)
