i’m going with the larger bead crowd - the nupps look great, too, though… it’s totally a personal preference - i think i would be more likely to knit this with the beads rather than the nupps. i have 3 skeins of the malibrigo lace (ice blue) — anxiously awaiting the pattern

Nupps. Fiddly, but absolutely worth it. And I love how you’ve used them here–isolated instead of in the usual clusters.

I’m with the nupps crowd. The beads just aren’t significant enough to fit the rest of the pattern.

I never thought I’d say it, but I like the nupps better than the beads. They show up a little bit better (though that might be partly due to the yarn color).
