Score!
I’ve been lusting after the book, Shetland Lace by Gladys Amedro for years. Unfortunately, it was OOP and I only saw one copy for sale in all the time I’ve been searching.
Imagine how my heart raced when I happened to see on the Unicorn website that it was being reprinted! I immediately called my LYS and asked the owner to order a copy for me.
Mine . . . all mine . . .

My copy should be arriving tomorrow. Excited to see it.
That’s exciting. I love it when out of print books that you really want become available again.
I won a copy in a Yahoo groups drawing a couple of years ago. It’s a good book for sure!
I hope she has more!
Happy day for you!!!!
Schoolhouse Press is carrying this treasure.
How cool!
Wow, check out the new cover! I wonder if they have made any changes to the inside.
That is wonderful! Now if only they would do that to some of the Alice Starmore books that are selling for $200 then I would be a happy camper!
What! That’s marvelous. I’ve been looking for a copy again ever since mine disappeared when a thief apparently took my knitting bag to haul along the CDs and radio out of our van one night.
I’ve noticed that there are starting to be reprints. I somehow acquired a copy new when I first decided to teach myself lace knitting several years ago. Did they include charts in it this time or is it still in the rather different vernacular?
Oh, shiny!
I’ve seen so many references to this book, but had no hope of getting it. Very good news indeed!
That’s great! I hope it meets your expectations.
What would all of us book-loving knitters do without Schoolhouse and Dover? It looks gorgeous on the outside. I’m sure the inside is yummy, too.
