Oh, who knew you had such a macabre little sense of humor????? Hee.

Those school buses always get in the way more often than not…ouch.

I’m thinking you should make your view out the front into a postcard. I mean we have snow in Wisconsin, but it doesn’t look like that!

You have a gorgeous view from your driveway!

Who wrote that? One of your kids? Priceless!

  8. rositta on 02 Feb 2008 at 7:09 pm

What a sky, absolutely fabulous. Our groundhog Wiarton Willi didn’t see his shadow so I hope spring is coming…ciao

  9. Beth on 02 Feb 2008 at 8:36 pm

You have winter/snow, we have spring. :)

    Happy Groundhog Day!

I do miss how positively huge the sky is in Utah . . . and how blue. Thanks so much for the photo, and for the laugh. :o )

The little bastid deserved it…coming out on the only blue sky day we’ve had for weeks! ;-)

    Love your view.

Bwa hahahahaha! I was so bad this year, didn’t send out xmas cards, and have been thinking to send groundhog day cards, but now those would be belated as well… but that poem could surely go in such a card. Did you write it? One of your kids?

  16. Cheryl S. on 03 Feb 2008 at 10:24 am

    It was a gorgeous day!

  17. Beth S. on 03 Feb 2008 at 11:57 am

Joy & Peace of Groundhog season. I’m dying here…

  20. Lark on 04 Feb 2008 at 9:04 am

Don’t let the PETA people read this! LOL While you all waited for snow on Sunday, I woke up to 11 inches in my driveway. How I do long for Blue Skies!

  21. Kim on 05 Feb 2008 at 6:03 am

Hahaha……groundhog stew…heeehheee. That little ditty is priceless!

Your mountains are so beautiful in that picture!

  22. Carla on 05 Feb 2008 at 7:31 am

Your driveway picture makes me nostalgic for when we lived in the Northwest. Our views were similar and we loved it, but alas, the recession of the early 80s intervened and we haven’t lived in such marvelous country since. Enjoy your view. It is special.

  23. Rachel on 06 Feb 2008 at 6:46 am

Does that mean we are stuck in winter eternally? Thanks for visiting my blog:D

  24. Beth on 06 Feb 2008 at 7:20 am

Hi. Just looking for new knitting blogs to read, but wow, what a view! Now THAT is spectacular.

  25. Laurie on 06 Feb 2008 at 1:09 pm

Cute. Sign of the times, eh?

    Lucky grrl for that view.

  26. Birdsong on 07 Feb 2008 at 5:53 pm

Had the sun arrived yet? Hope you are staying warm and cozy, as I heard there were six more weeks of winter.

DO you see the beauty outside your door everyday or do you just get used to it and maybe notice it “every now and then”? Just curious. I’ve always envied people who lived near the mountains and wished I did too, then wondered if the “wonder” would wear off.

WOW – what a view, and what a story. :)
I just found you via your beautiful shawls on Ravelry.
