Sad Faces
*sniff, sniff*
Anne‘s moving to New Mexico.
Margene, Nicole, Laurie, Miriam, and I had breakfast with her on Sunday at Silver Fork Lodge.
We may be smiling in this photo:
But, the sad faces in this one show how we really feel:
I’ll miss you, Anne. Thanks for teaching me how to spin.

It was so much fun, even if it was a little sad to say good bye. Thanks for teaching me to spin too, Anne! We’ll all miss you, but can’t wait to take multiple trips to New Mexico. Maybe we’ll see you more often. ;-D
Looks like you all managed to have some fun anyway! The Silver Fork looks like it’s in full winter mode now…and all of your knitwear looks warm and cozy.
Welcome! Another addict is always good.
If you and Margene decide to go east for Rhinebeck, maybe I’ll tag along for that, and ya’ll can come for Taos in 2010!
I know how much you’ll miss Anne. You ALL need to come east really soon.
Wah for sure.
Where in NM?
It sounds like Anne was a one-woman spinning university. And like she’ll b well missed.
What’s happening in Taos in 1010?
That would be Taos in 2010. I’m sure something happened in Taos in 1010, but I don’t really need to know about it right now. Maybe next time I’m looking up stuff about what happened then in the parts of Arizona where I grew up I’ll check NM too.
it’s always sad when a friend moves on…you’ll think of her every time you spin!
Oh it’s so hard when a friend moves away. The silver lining is that I see a roadtrip in this group’s future. Won’t that be a fun getaway?
It is always sad telling a good friend goodbye, isn’t it? Sounds like a good opportunity for you to go visit though!
This may be a little tacky but I absolutely love the blue sweater in the last photograph (the woman sitting next to the Irish Hiking Scarf). Could you find out what it is?
It’s sad to say goodbye to a friend, but she has taught you such a wonderful thing! You’ll be in touch every time you spin.
