Last Minute

I have an annoying habit of leaving things to the last minute. Which means that I spent this Mother’s Day knitting a pair of angora fingerless mitts for my MIL:

and working on a top I wanted to take on my trip with me:

I’m finally willing to concede that the top won’t be finished by tomorrow morning so back into the knitting bag it goes to await my return.

Now I’m off to finish packing. See you in a few.

Have fun! Sadly, I cannot offer an advice on the procrastination. Happy Mother’s Day!

It’s good to know I’m not the only one finishing knitted projects the day they are to be given away. :) Beautiful mitts! And the sweater looks like it will be lovely as well.

Ooooh, lucky MIL! Lovely mitts (somehow that word just doesn’t do justice to the elegance of your little masterpieces!), wish I had a DIL who knitted…

…But mine cooks and sews so that’s OK ;-)
