Friday Night Lights
I swore I would only make one of those School Spirit hats . . .
really . . . .
But the constant whining pleas and the lure of some Cascade 220 in the stash finally wore me down:

The hats make their debut at the game on Friday night. And while I still have enough Cascade 220 and Shepherd’s Wool left over to make a couple more . . .
I’m not doing it . . .
I swear.

You’re such a good mom!
Don’t you need one to wear to games?
Ha! You’re going to make so many of these hats – your daughter is too popular to only get away with a few. At least they’re fast.
Maybe you could offer to teach one of them how to knit so they could make their own?
Slippery slope!!!
Well, I can see why you got all the requests! They are very cute.
VERY cute! Any chance of a pattern (with “insert your own school stuff here”)???
Right. And I’m not knitting sweaters for myself anymore….
Yeah, right.
I got caught in that same “hat trap” only it was knitting hats with the sorority greek letters on them! The first one was fun . . . and then . . . well, you know all too well!
Should we have a pool? Everyone toss in a skein of sock yarn, and guess how many Susan makes between now and Hannah’s graduation?
I don’t beleive you!! You have to finish up that yarn!
haha I told you
I still love these hats… they’re beautiful!!!
Seems to me that you are in the zone now, why fight it?
Here’s a skein that says you will make more:)
Hm, so you think you’re done, eh? Ha, you’ll probably be suckered, oops, talked into more! Hahaha! j/k
Ha! Riiiiight.
Now THATS devotion!
Love the hats.
You seriously have to be everyone’s favorite mom.
Wow, that is way cool!! I am betting there will soon be a long line of fans asking you to make them each one:)
Can I PLEASE have this pattern. I would love to PURCHASE it if you would tell me where? thanks Marlys
