Never heard of a Skybar but I must confess to buying and entire box of Walnettos from the candy store by my Grandmother's house in New Jersey to bring back to Denver. This was back in the Laugh-In days.

Isn't it sad when that nostalgic feeling doesn't extend to the taste? You have probably just become too accustomed to gourmet dark chocolates, LOL.

I can honestly say I don't remember Skybars. We were busy munching down Idaho Spuds and Bit-o-Honey bars.

Necco wafers, sure... those were a childhood favorite! But I cannot recall the Skybar. Oh well. ;-)

Yes, I remember them, and can't even recall when they disappeared from common commerce. I wonder why.

OMG I TOTALLY remember those! From, maybe 1973? (thinking 6th grade, walking home from the bus/school). Also Mallow bars and the odd cardboard 'coins' or whatever they were in there.

We have a store here in Halifax, NS that sells them. I'd never heard of them before, but I did try one once and thought it was quite tasty!

Do I ever remember these. They used to be 5 cents and I remember having a quarter and buying 5 of them. I broke them all apart and proceeded to try and guess what the filling would be. I got soooo sick. I even remember the song.

1 - 2 -3 - 4 skybar.
It's the four in one bar.
Which flavor do you like best.
English toffee, yes that's the one for me.
I like fudeg parfee my favorite of them all.
My favorite flavor is honey nugett.
It's peanut whip for me, yes peanut whip for me.

I'm sorry I don't remember the little characters that each said a line but the peanut whip line was said by a chahuahua.

Okay so maybe I don't have enough to do but I do remember lots of old jingles. How about brusha, brusha, brusha.... for Ipana toothpaste?
