Trip Knit

Only a quick post today; just something to whet your curiosity.

On Saturday, Margene, Eliza, Cheryl, and I piled into Cheryl’s car and drove to Twin Falls for the Snake River Fiber Fair. Awesome trip! I’ll have more details later this week.

I bought very little *cough, cough* but I managed to knit quite a bit during the car ride. I knew I need something easily memorized but fun to knit. Friday night, I found an appropriate pattern, rummaged through the stash of “special” yarn, and cast on while I watched Notes on a Scandal (fabulous, BTW).

I cast off Sunday morning and gave the FO a little dip in some Eucalan.

Hmmmmm . . . now what could that be? And why was the yarn in the “special” bin?

OMG!! I **LOVED** Notes on a Scandal!! Dame Judy was just SO creepy!

Sounds like you had a great time with the girls and I have no idea what the heck you knit, but I’m sure it’s something FAB!

You didn’t buy much? What were in those bags you were carrying—someone else’s purchases? Hehehe…

It was SO good to see you!! Now I’m looking forward to and saving for Great Basin. Don’t we have fun lives?

Best of luck to your son in Houston!

You are such a tease! My guess is a lacy scarf from your handspun that you are donating to a good cause, such as Dulaan.

Darn, I missed you. I fully intended to go to the Snake River Fiber Fair since I live right on the same road in Idaho Falls BUT I had to drive a truck to Orem and did not get back until 5 P.M. Looks like something soft and lacy in the soapy water.

What a tease you are! I can’t even tell what color that is, really. But it’s got to be lace, and maybe even handspun.

Maybe a scarf - something intricate and lace? I’ll be back to find out.

I woke up this morning and made the connection between last night’s FO and this post. Sometimes I’m a little slow on the uptake.
