Saturday Sky
Two Saturdays ago it was 95 degrees.
This Saturday, the snow is sticking at 3,600 feet.
You can bet I’ve got wool socks on today.

Amazing turn of events!
Wow – it’s still 95 degrees in Austin, TX. As a native Michigander, this is very depressing. I looked at your picture and honestly couldn’t remember what it was like to be in cold weather with snow. I do believe a trip home is in order!
I am so envious! I would love to feel that crisp air right now!
And I thought it was cold in Britain! I am no longer complaining – thank you!
Sofee and I are kind of looking forward to some cold weather soon……
Wow! I’m not offering to trade, but it does look enticing.
I’m really glad I was there two weeks ago.
I think I can wait on that thank you very much!
I am not amused by this weather. As a Portlander, I relish autumn–it lasts for weeks in the Northwest. This wintry weather is an anachronism of the most annoying kind.
Snow?!?!?! Where ARE you??? It was nearly 90 here on wednesday, but has become quite seasonable at mid 60′s.
WOW!!! I think I am almost glad it was hot when we were there.
Keep those woolies on!
What Terry said.
3600 feet?!? You’re at least 4600!!
Me, too, worsted weight!
Snow? Yikes!
WHOOHOO!
Oh my! SNOW! Here in the Northeast, the weather has been perfect. Cooler, but not cool enough for wooly socks–yet.
Holy cow. Snow, just the thought of it. We are still sweltering down here at sea level. I have been a Saturday Sky Slacker! Well, at least your socks don’t live in the drawer.
I am envious of your snow, here in Buffalo we are still way above normal and forecast to stay that way all week. A frost would be nice to stop all the flies at the barn. I should be paying for putting a sheet on her this month, not putting on fly spray.
I should be careful what I wish for though, last year we got the Octoer surptise storm of 28 inches in mid October, it was too much too soon. So a little snow would be nice.
It was actually really nice on Saturday for the Knox Farm Fiber Fest. It was 66 and sunny with a light breeze.
Lovely!
Thanks for my first shot of snow for the year
Although we have never seen 95 degree temps here at 9,035 ft. elevation, SNOW is just around the corner for us!
Dallas, Tx – today’s high – 90 (and humid)
Tomorrow’s high: 91 (Scattered Thunderstorms tomorrow night, though).
Snow. I’m too thin-skinned for it – I prefer the mild Dallas winter (we get 30s and 40s at night…) but snow is sure pretty to look at – thanks for the pics!
Miss K, who would rather be cold than hot, as long as ‘cold’ is only really about 50-60 degrees.
It’s still so hot in Singapore that I am willing to trade a bit of cold weather (at least I can wear my cardis out!)
Looks like I better be knitting a new cardigan soon for our rainy year end season!
Hi again, I’m still in the “I love snow” group. I posted your lovely prize on my blog today, pop on over!
Thanks again!
Sounds lovely! It is cold here in the south!
