I had been planning on buying Spring Things, but had been dragging my feet buying it. But the sale was a great motivator. I’m buying Forest Canopy and the Lily of the Valley Smoke Ring while I’m at it. Thank you for your very pretty lace designs, and happy birthday!

I just finished my first Forest Canopy…it’s adorable and sooo easy to knit. And fast too.
Moved onto my second and love it just as much again.

I’m so glad your birthday was a success, Susan. That’s some lovely handspun!

Btw, have you ever tried knitting with PureWool? Your mention of BFL reminded me of it. I’m about to try their new 3-ply worsted (they also have merino lace), and the other 1-ply worsted I have is incredibly soft . . . softer than BFL by the accounts I’ve read from knitters who knit soakers for their babes.
