I found one of those in Walmart of all places! I hadn’t enetered one of their stores in at least 5 years but had to have a pair of size 35 needles to knit some Gelato. Thier selection was poor, as I expected, but they had a knitting holder. Surprise, surprise.
I am ready to give those “Twisted” socks a whirl.

Well, mine are red, knit in Cottage Craft.
They are incredibly warm and appealing in a sexy lumberjack kind of way.
So, I’ m calling mine “Ishpeming hooker socks.”

My completely out of the blue guess is “Strange Brew Socks”, because that’s what clicking the “she-who-could-not-kithcener-but-now-can” link got me. I’ve finished the variegated one, and am working to finish that pair, but then some caterpillar-green Opal called piteously to me, and I’ve got three socks on the needles again.
